Parkinson's Law

Two parts to this concept:

  1. You will find a way for the work you have to take the amount of time you have.

  2. Bureaucracy and officials don't want competition or rivals, they want subordinates. They create work for other people. The larger the scope of the office grows is not relative to the amount of work done or work that needs to be done.
